Two jinn and a priest

This base relief sculpture represents two of the good jinn, one of whom is called Abjaal and the other is Asar; They are the two bare-headered horsemen confronting each other in this scene. In the middle, stands a priest, burning incense on an altar. The horses in this scene are small, and they have similar walk.

The jinn to the left is holding a sword and a round shield, he’s carrying a double quiver on his back, while the other on the right carries – in addition to the aforementioned quiver – a shield decorated with a shape resembling a flower. The three are standing on a pedestal the has the following inscriptions (*)

Makai Ibn Azizou left a good memory for the peace of his soul in the month of October of the year 466 (equivalent to the year 154 according to the Gregorian calendar)

To the left of the head of the knight on the right:
