The facade of an 7th century Islamic palace has been moved and reconstructed as the museum’s main entrance. Some of the findings from Qaser Al Heir palace are also located in the museum second floor. The Islamic wing contains many exhibits for objects dating back from different periods of Islamic History. Those are featuring the many scriptures from the Omayyad era to the Ottomans. This also includes an 18th century reconstructed Damascene room.
