A Decorated Panel Depicting Seated Camels

Description

It looks like this peace was part of a threshold for a door. The first camel to the left is the one with the best preserved features.  All three are depicted seated and and loaded. All three are carrying a round shield towards the hip.

  • Date: first half of 2nd century.
